SHIPPING POLICY

BOAT SHIPMENTS:

Shipping a boat is complex.  We’ve put together the following tips to help you through the process.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. 813-938-1861. 

 

What do I need to know about a home delivery?

The carrier requires a phone number in order to schedule delivery. Please include a current phone number with your order. You will need to be there in person when the truck arrives. Boats are not delivered on weekends. 

Once your boat has shipped, you will receive an email confirmation notice, including tracking number.

Delivery is "to the curb." The driver may not assist you in moving the item into your home. Please arrange for help if needed.

There are steps you should take to ensure that the boat arrived in good condition and that you are satisfied.

When the boat arrives, the carrier will ask you to sign a delivery receipt.  Before doing this, please inspect the boat packaging thoroughly for damage.  

 

Visible damage to packaging:

 

Should you find damage to the packaging, please unwrap the boat at that time to inspect for further damage to the boat itself.   If you find that there has been damage to the boat and are unwilling to accept it, you should not sign the delivery receipt and should instead refuse the shipment due to the damage.   In the unlikely event that you find damage, refuse the shipment and contact the fulfiller as noted on the Bill of Lading or packing slip.

 

Packaging does not show sign of damage:

If the packaging does not show any sign of damage, please sign the delivery receipt and keep a copy for your records.   Boat should be unwrapped and inspected within 48 hours of receipt.  Should you find concealed damage, please refer to your copy of the delivery receipt and contact the appropriate carrier to schedule a time for them to come and inspect the unit.   Please keep all packaging and do not attempt to repair or conceal the damage to the boat.  

Note:  If you ordered accessories, they will arrive in a separate shipment.

If you are not completely stoked with your Zoffinger's Kayak purchase, for any reason we will offer a full refund within 30 days of purchase, excluding shipping & handling. *Some restrictions apply: ZKRS does not accept returns on gear that has been used or missing factory tags, used kayaks, closeout items, special orders, or purchases from Zoffinger's Kayak Rentals and Sales
